America’s feminine teenagers, who have acquired a reputation as inventors of their own fashion fads — plus their own colorful language — were offered an outlet for both talents with a new perforated belt. Made of plastic, the undecorated belt comes in a kit with eight skeins of colored thread and a needle for embroidering their own “teen-jive” phrase, boyfriend’s name or decorative design. The belt kits (by Sandor) cost about $2 in department stores across the country.
